Purchase Coordinator


 

We are looking for a Purchase Coordinator to join our Wayanad Property. Ideal candidate is experienced with a passion for learning and desire to grow in the area of Procurement. The candidate should be detail - oriented, able to work independently and as a part of a team, and have a strong communication skill. The roles involve procurement activities, maintaining records and coordinating with vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Researched product needs, identified potential vendors, compared products and costs, and initiate procurement needs.
  • Evaluate offers from the vendors and negotiate for better deals.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery for goods and service.
  • Conduct Market research to identity pricing trends.
  • Able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation.
  • Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
  • Maintain clear and organised records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
  • Responsible for storage of both Food & Beverage and operational stock.
  • Prepare cost analysis report and submit to Operation / Administration Manager.
  • Maintain updated records of invoice and contracts.
  • Incoming material acceptance and Quality control.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned department heads (HOD’s) and approved by Operation Manager / Administration Manager.
  • Post all invoices using the Software. (WINHMS)
  • Conduct physical stock audits on a regular /Weekly /Monthly basis and timely reporting of discrepancy.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail- oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with purchasing and inventory management system is an advantage.
  • LMV License holder.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline.
  • Strong analytical, communication and computer skills.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
